Day before surgery!!!

Thursday December 1st 2005,

I arrived at the hospital at 10.20 a.m ready for my pre-op tests. I had my scan this afternoon it went ok all I have to do now is wait for the results! I saw my surgeon who said that he will only be taking a look around tomorrow and nothing else!

I am a little nervous about my surgery but look forwards to getting it over with!

Sarah,
Hi! I am glad things are comming along for you.
Helping your family to get passed the 1st aniversary of the passing of your grandmother is never easy.We too will have this year the 1st year aniv. of my own grandmothers passing. The holidays for my mom were the worst, but sharing the holidays together did help.My mom was taking it the hardest and I remember a conversation we had and she was emotional and sad.I asked my mom to try to celebrate the life my grandmother lived for she was of good standing she had many accomplishments in her lifetime and was a very strong woman.
It seems since then my mom took me srious. She is putting her name in for VP of the ELK's or Moose lodge in Her state where she lives as she is very much involved with them.I remember when she was so sad and I told her "Let's make mema proud." My mema would not want us to be sorrowful, but live by the examples she set forth for us and rejioce that she is waiting for us and preparing a place for us...so I told my mom let's do stuff that she gonna be in heaven watching saying "thats my child who has done this"...with joy in her heart.
That is the only thing I found to be genuinly helpful for my mom and I... to celebrate the LIFE my Mema LIVED and make her proud even now.
I was hoping to see a photo here! I am excited to see the new you!
love your site ,well done.
